This Privacy Policy describes how InstaLens (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our browser extension and website available at https://instalens.io(collectively, the “Service”). • Account information: When you sign up using email, Google, or another supported provider, we receive your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider.
• Instagram data: When you generate a report, the InstaLens extension fetches your followers and followings directly from Instagram using your own authenticated session. This data is transmitted to our servers and stored so you can compare reports over time.
• Tracked profiles:Public profile information for Instagram accounts you add to “Track People”.
• Billing information: Subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment card details; the payment provider retains them according to its own policies.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, and interactions with the Service, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To generate follower/following reports and compare them across time.
• To process subscriptions and manage your account.
• To communicate with you about product updates, service issues, and support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with service providers that help us run the Service:

4. Instagram Data

InstaLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. All Instagram data retrieved by the extension is fetched under your own authenticated session using Instagram’s public interfaces. You are responsible for complying with Instagram’s Terms of Use when using the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual reports, tracked profiles, or your entire account at any time. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.

6. Your Rights

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
